Miranda Parkes presented the floor of the gallery as an aesthetic field. Framing photographs of the floor in one gallery, Parkes juxtaposed this aesthetic against photocopied stacks of similar images that the public could take away with them. Mimetically placed to occupy the very site of their representation, these stacks invited the viewer to connect with the aesthetic desire of Parkes formalism.
