Painter and printmaker Andre Hemer's Offsite project is currently located on a billboard on Manchester Street. It aims to challenge people's views of painting in public spaces, as well as play on the nature of large-scale advertising and imagery. Andre Hemer, currently on an art residency in South Korea, is known for his audacious and vibrant abstractions. His billboard project was conceived as an extension of the painting ideas he has been exploring over the past two years.
